Current Obsession: Summer Lipsticks

I really love bright, in-your-face lipsticks for Spring/Summer and I wanna show you all my current lipstick favorites. I usually throw on some mascara and a bright lipstick when it's really hot. It really makes a whole outfit. That pop of color on the lips could really make it seem like you worked on your makeup for a few hours. If you're looking for a lipstick that really screams fun, here are some shade ideas you might enjoy:
(Left to Right):
- MAC Morange
-Kat Von D in Underage Red
-Maybellin Vivids in On Fire Red
-MAC Viva Glam Nicki
-MAC Candy Yum-Yum
(Left to Right)
-Maybelline Vivids in Brazen Berry
-MAC Rebel
-Wet N Wild Vamp It Up

I'll try to make a makeup look that shows how I use these lipsticks. I know there are a lot of girls that are scared to try very bright colors. I suggest to just try it once and just have fun with it. Don't be afraid to try something new. Thank you all for reading <3

TEXTURE/FINISH: Varies from cream to shimmery. Starts off with glossy finish, dries to a matte, rubbery finish.
PACKAGING: plastic tube. doe foot applicator wand.

OPINION: I like this product but I don't love it. The things that I love about it is that the color is VERY INTENSE. What you see on the tube is what you get. It's very beautiful. BUT, the formulation of this lip product is not working out for me. At first it was great. Then as it dries up, my lips feel like raisins. I wore it for at least 4 hours. They do stay that long but I just hate the feeling so much that everything good about it doesn't matter anymore. It feels like rubber, which is true about Wet N' Wild's claims but it did feel as good as it sounds. I haven't really tried the other shades, I only have the ones without shimmer on them. I'm not really sure if I wanna try the other ones to be honest. I don't know when I will ever wear this. I'm pretty disappointed.

Wet N' Wild Coloricon Lipliner (Review)

PRODUCT NAME: Wet N' Wild Color Icon Lipliner
PRICE: $0.99
AVAILABILITY: Drugstores, wnwbeauty.com
CLAIMS: (according to Wet N' Wild's website)
"Creamy, lip-defining color glides on smooth to prevent lipstick feathering"
TEXTURE/FINISH: Creamy
PACKAGING: Regular pencil. Needs sharpener to get more product out.

1) Chestnut (711)
2) Plumberry (715)
3) Fab Fuchsia (664C)
4) Berry Red (717)
5) Willow (712)

OPINION: I love this product. It is really cheap, yet has an amazing quality. WNW rarely disappoints me with their products and this is another product by them that I will be repurchasing when I run out. This is creamy and lives up to its claims. I never experience feathering with these and the color selection matches almost every lipsticks out there. The pigmentation in these products are also unbelievably amazing. A little bit goes a long way. The only thing I would change about this is make it retractable. I really hate that it needs sharpening and sometimes I would scratch my lips when it's not sharpened well. Other than that I definitely recommend this product to everyone.

LOTD #13: Gold and Turquoise

I used my Limited Edition Palette by Wet N' Wild called "Sparkle 'Til Morning". I was very inspired by the colors so I used most of the neutral shimmer colors on my lids and used the turquoise as a bottom eyeliner. I put it on top of Kat Von D Autograph Eyeliner in Eyegasm and used Autograph Liquid Eyeliner in Puro Amor. That's it! I hope you'll all try it!

Top 7 Favorite Red Lipsticks

I've been really loving red lipsticks for this fall and this is just top 7 of the lipsticks I've been loving to wear. Not only because they have pretty colors, but also because of the quality of these lipsticks individually. The list below is not in order.

From Left to Right:
1.) NYX in Eros - This lipstick has a creamy finish and only needs at least one touch up to last the day.
2.) Kat Von D in Underage Red - This is the epitome of red lips. It looks great on every skin color, lasts long, and looks great with Pin-up looks.
3.) Wet N' Wild in Red Velvet - Has a matte finish and lasts all day. The color is very pigmented and pops on the lips.
4.) MAC in Russian Red - Matte finish and lasts all day. When I wear this, I never had to re-apply. This is MY FAVORITE out of all the red lipsticks I own.
5.) L'Oreal in British Red - Very creamy and pigmented
6.) Milani in Hot Flash - Most pigmented foiled lipstick I've ever tried. Pencil form makes it easy to apply.
7.) ELF in Rich Red - For the price, this definitely surprised me. Amazing quality! Gives a nice matte finish and lasts all day.

Wet N' Wild "Where's The Party?" Collection - "Drinking A Glass Of Shine" Palette (Review)

ABOUT THE PRODUCT:
This palette is part of Wet N' Wild's "Where is the Party?" collection and is limited edition. This is the same exact palette from an old collection named "I Heart Matte" palette. I missed out on that palette and I was upset that I even searched other sites like Ebay, to get the palette! People are asking for $30-$40 to buy their palettes! RIDICULOUS! Thank goodness Wet N' Wild put this palette back!
All the eyeshadows in this palette are MATTE which is the main reason why I bought this palette in the first place, you can never have enough matte shades!
There are 8 eyeshadows in each palette and for the price, its a very great deal! The left column of the palette are the colorful shades and the right column of the palette are the neutral shades. I find that all of them aren't very pigmented but it can definitely be layered with getting too powdery.

I would rate this product 4.5/5

I personally love everything about this palette. The only thing is that, some of the eyeshadows aren't very pigmented. But, they can be easily layered without getting powdery and cakey. Overall, I think this palette can definitely be comparable to high end products. Although I find that these shadows are a little dry, but I think that matte shades are really supposed to be this dry anyways. Anyways, I definitely recommend this product.

Wet N' Wild "Where's The Party?" Collection - "Sparkle 'Til Morning" Palette (Review)

ABOUT THE PRODUCT:
This 8-pan palette is part of Wet N' Wild's "Where's The Party?" collection and is limited edition. I'm not actually sure how long this will be available for, but I believe until after the holidays. If you really want this palette, I suggest you get them now because they only sell 2 of each colors they have per store (at least at the stores I've been to) so most likely they would run out quickly.
This palette retails for $4.99 each and has 8 eyeshadows in each palette. I found out about this palette from Emily Noel (YouTube) and once she held it up, I fell in love with it! I've been really loving coppery shades lately and when I saw the third eyeshadow from the left column and the second eyeshadow from the right column, it already sold me!

In my opinion, these eyeshadows are very creamy and glides on the lids! Although, some of them are a little powdery, but its not something that would get kind of annoying. They are also VERY PIGMENTED! I swatched them right when I got home from Walgreens and I can't believe how much a little bit of this product can do!

I would rate this product 4.5/5

If you are planning to buy this product to be given as a gift or even a stocking stuffer for the holidays, GO FOR IT! They won't be disappointed and you won't be spending so much money! For $5, the quality of the shadows in this palette are amazing. Although they could get a little powdery and actually be a little messy but they aren't that bad. With a good primer, this will last you all day so I definitely recommend it!

Quick Walgreens Haul!

I made a quick stop at Walgreens today to pick up two of the three 8-pan palettes from the "Where's the Party?" collection by Wet N'Wild. I saw these first from Emily Noel's (emilynoel83 / Beauty Broadcast) YouTube video. She has all the palettes but only two of them really caught my eye, which are:

-Sparkle 'Til Morning
-Drinking A Glass Of Shine

These two palettes retails for $4.99 each and are available at Walgreens and CVS (as far as I know).
I miss out on the "I Heart Matte" palette which is has the exact colors in "Drinking A Glass Of Shine", so I was happy it came back! Some people on Ebay were selling the "I Heart Matte" palette for $30-$50!! RIDICULOUS! Anyways, I'm glad they put this back! I will be writing an individual review for each of this palettes!

*The palette I don't have is called "Shimmer The Night Away" which is half black and whites, and half purples and blues.

Wet N' Wild Megalast Nail Color (Review)

I believe that all the megalast nail polishes have cream finishes, which is beautiful in my opinion. The name says it at! These do last a very long time. My nail polishes last me a long time. They start to chip after around a week of from application. I love the variety of colors but most of them are usual nail polish colors. I'm a crazy color kinda person and I's love it if they would add neons, glitters, iridescent and metallic colors. But then I'm asking for too much. Just a suggestion ;) These usually cost $1.99 but Wet N' Wild products usually go on sale in drugstores like Rite Aid. You can get them for only a dollar each.

These also have paddle like brushes for faster and easier application. Not bad for a drugstore item huh? These are definitely worth buying.

I would rate this product 5/5

Wet N' Wild Mega Last Lipstick (Review)

I have a huge obsession with matte makeup. Whether it be lipstick, eyeshadow, blush, I just love them! I got two of these lipsticks a while ago and I just fell completely in love with them! So, I bought another four...hihi. I have no problems with buying a bunch of them because they're only $1.99 each! But, Rite Aid usually have Wet N' Wild items on sale for 40% off so technically, I just got these for a little over $1.00 each. GREAT DEAL HUH?

So about these lipsticks. As you all know, these have a matte finish. Although some matte lipsticks will dry up your lips like nobody's business, these are actually very creamy. I'm not gonna say moisturizing, but it feels amazing on the lips. These are also VERY PIGMENTED. I wouldn't expect this kind of quality on dollar lipsticks. On each stick, you get 0.11oz/3.3g of product. Compared to a M.A.C lipstick, which are $15 each, you get a little bit less (0.1oz/3g).

I would rate this product 4.5/5

The colors I have are:

top (left to right)
Bare It All (902C) - light brown nude
Think Pink (901B) - pale pink
Smokin' Hot Pink (905D) - hot pink
Red Velvet (910D) - cherry red

bottom (left to right)
Sugar Plum Fairy (908C) - purple magenta
Cinnamon Spice (917B) - brownish red

Purty Persimmon (907) - orange red
