I WON!!! (Sephora Favorites Super Stars)

I always try to enter as much giveaways on Instagram as possible because what am I going to lose in the process? I happen to come across an instagram of a beauty school called "My Beauty Mark Makeup Academy" and they have some very impressive work. The Co-Owners which are Julisa Duran and Leticia Ruiz held a giveaway for their followers. I entered as usual and ended up winning. This is actually the second time I won something in a giveaway this year. The first one was a giveaway by Bunny aka Grav3yardgirl on youtube. I won 1 pair of Velour lashes which I will review in a different blog. Anyway, I'm very thankful and bless that I won this set because I've been eyeing this set at Sephora for ages. Although it's a great value for what's inside, it was still a little too much for my budget. Thank you so much to Julisa and Leticia.

Please follow them at Instagram and see their amazing work:

I was so excited to get this set! Most of the things here are full sized. It seems very expensive because it retails for $75 exclusively at Sephora. This is basically a set of top rated products they have sold. These can be individually purchased and when you add up the products, it is worth more than twice the actual price!!! Everything in this set are very easy to use and are basically universal colors. The set I received from the mail though was defected. The Nars packaging was all scratched up, the plastic melted on the Sephora eyeshadow, and the Kat Von D perfume spilled EVERYWHERE. I took it to Sephora for an exchange and they gave me a new one. But there were some difference from the first set I got. The first set had a different eyeshadow shade which was "black light". In this one I got the shade "sunset". Also, the Buxom lip gloss in the first one is the shade "sandy" and the one I have now is "dolly". It is actually much better than the first one. I'm very happy either way. I can't thank Julisa and Leticia enough for this.

***I will be doing separate blogs for each of the products in this set***

May 2013 Favorites

Makeup Favorites:
1.) Physician's Formula Bronze Booster
I've been using this for the whole month and it barely made a dent. This has a slight shimmer but not too overwhelming. Perfect for summer. I use this to contour.

2.) Kat Von D Everlasting Blush in Heartagram
I know this looks too dark for summer, but it's perfect for my tan skin. It's my go to, no-makeup look blush. It has a slight shimmer which gives the skin a healthy glow.

3.) MAC Extra Dimension Blush in Bareness
This disappointed me at first because I thought it would be a great highlight since it's part of the "Extra Dimension" collection. But it's not shimmery at all. More like a matte blush, kind of. But, still an amazing blush. The shade is great for everyday.

4.) ELF Healthy Glow Bronzing Powder in Luminance
I'm really sad that this product is discontinued. This is my favorite highlighter. A little bit goes a long way and it's only $1. I hope they would put this back!

5.) ELF Eyebrow Kit in Medium
As you guys can see in the photo above, I barely have any left. I use this everyday. This is my favorite brow kit ever!

6.) Rimmel Lash Accelerator in Extreme Black 03
This is always on my favorites. It separates the lashes while giving it amazing length and volume. This is very underrated in my opinion.

7.) L'Oreal True Match Super-Blendable Crayon Concealer in W4-5
I actually finished the whole tube already but I used it for about two months. It gives the best coverage without suffocating the skin. Perfect concealer!

8.) Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer in 130 Medium
This is great for under eye. It covers up the darkness without making me look flat.

9.) MAC lipstick in Morange
This is my new favorite lipstick shade. I've been obsessed with orange lipsticks lately and this is a great pop of color for the summer with neutral eye makeup.

10.) Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream in W24
I had to ask my boyfriend to get me this tube when he visited the Philippines. I've been really loving it! A LITTLE BIT GOES A LONG WAY. Half a pump covers up my whole face. It's gonna take a while for me to finish this tube. It also provides a wonderful coverage.

Here is what the inside of the compacts look like:

Skincare Favorites:
1.) St. Ives Timeless Skin Moisturizer
This is the most amazing find I had this past month. You can feel your face firm up after you apply it. It's not thick but very moisturizing and for this big tub, its only $5.

2.) The Body Shop Tea Tree Face Mask
I've been very oily lately and this solved my problem! I use this once a week and it improved my skin!

3.) Hard Candy Eye'M Tired
This is part of my night routine and it really made a huge difference with my under eye circle.

4.) ELF Zit Zapper
This is my 5th tube I believe. This really works for spot treatment! Only $1!

5.) Dickinson's Original Witch Hazel
I've been using this same bottle for 3 months now. This is all natural and improved the appearance of my skin. Besides the smell, this is a wonderful product! I apply this every night before I sleep.

Current Obsessions: Maybelline Lip Products/Dickinson's Witch Hazel

Color Whispers
I tried one of these and I became obsessed! Especially now that I'm going to school again, I don't really have time to apply lip primer, lip liner, then lipstick. These are great to just pop on your lips. These are also very moisturizing. I've been having very dry lips and I really hate wearing any lipstick that feels thick on my lips when it's very dry. But, this is an amazing formula. It's very lightweight but the pigmentation is amazing. Check out the swatches of the 5 shades I have. I think I'm going to get more when I go back to target!

From left to right: Coral Ambition, Pin Up Peach, Faint For Fuchsia, Lust For Blush, A Plum Prospect

Color Sensational Vivids in Brazen Berry
I've been loving this shade. It's so uniquely purple and it looks so appealing on my skin tone. I love wearing this with a simple winged eyeliner and peachy blush. IT'S SO GORGEOUS!

Witch Hazel
I decided to jumped in on the witch hazel band wagon and I love it! I've been noticing that my pores are getting bigger and bigger so I decided to purchase one of these. I really hate the smell but it works amazingly! I recommend this to everyone! Plus, no harsh chemicals so its great!

Enjoy your nights....or days.. ;)
