I WON!!! (Sephora Favorites Super Stars)

I always try to enter as much giveaways on Instagram as possible because what am I going to lose in the process? I happen to come across an instagram of a beauty school called "My Beauty Mark Makeup Academy" and they have some very impressive work. The Co-Owners which are Julisa Duran and Leticia Ruiz held a giveaway for their followers. I entered as usual and ended up winning. This is actually the second time I won something in a giveaway this year. The first one was a giveaway by Bunny aka Grav3yardgirl on youtube. I won 1 pair of Velour lashes which I will review in a different blog. Anyway, I'm very thankful and bless that I won this set because I've been eyeing this set at Sephora for ages. Although it's a great value for what's inside, it was still a little too much for my budget. Thank you so much to Julisa and Leticia.

Please follow them at Instagram and see their amazing work:

I was so excited to get this set! Most of the things here are full sized. It seems very expensive because it retails for $75 exclusively at Sephora. This is basically a set of top rated products they have sold. These can be individually purchased and when you add up the products, it is worth more than twice the actual price!!! Everything in this set are very easy to use and are basically universal colors. The set I received from the mail though was defected. The Nars packaging was all scratched up, the plastic melted on the Sephora eyeshadow, and the Kat Von D perfume spilled EVERYWHERE. I took it to Sephora for an exchange and they gave me a new one. But there were some difference from the first set I got. The first set had a different eyeshadow shade which was "black light". In this one I got the shade "sunset". Also, the Buxom lip gloss in the first one is the shade "sandy" and the one I have now is "dolly". It is actually much better than the first one. I'm very happy either way. I can't thank Julisa and Leticia enough for this.

***I will be doing separate blogs for each of the products in this set***

Sephora + Pantone Universe 2012 Color of the Year Set: Tangerine Tango(Review)

I know it's already 2013 but this set is still on for sale. My brother bought this from me as a late Christmas gift.

ABOUT THE PRODUCT:
This product retails for $58 but is currently on sale for only $21 for the whole set. The packaging are are mostly white. The palettes are like the inglot palettes; sleek, elegant, and magnetic.Available exclusively on Sephora. These are on clearance and are only available in stores. GET THEM WHILE YOU CAN!  Each set has 6 products which are:
- Eye Pencil in "Tangerine Tango Twist"
- Eyeshadow Quad (Sparrow, Pavement, Scallop Shell, Carnelian)
- Prisma Chrome Blush in "Apricot Brandy"
- Blush Duo (Desert Flower, Coral)
- Lipstick in "Tangerine Tango Cream"
- Lipgloss in "Tangerine Tango Luminous"

I would rate this product 5/5

I love these and I definitely recommend everyone getting this set while they are still available. Every product is pigmented and can be used throughout the year. The eyeshadow quad is amazing! The colors are neutral and can be used everyday. The blushes are also amazing. I love how they gave me an option of matte and shimmer shades. The lipstick and lipgloss are also pigmented. Although they have a weird scent but it's not bad. GO AND GET THIS SET ASAP! You won't be disappointed.

Here are swatches of the products:
Sparrow - brownish purple with purple microglitters
Pavement - black with purple and silver glitters
Scallop Shell - pearl shimmer
Carnelian - coral shimmer
Apricot Brandy - sheer salmon with gold microglitters
Desert Flower - matte coral
Coral - coral with gold shimmer
Tangerine Tango Twist - tangerine with red and gold microglitters
