They have 3 shades for this, light, light/medium, and medium. Which a complete downside. I first bought light medium. I find that it's a bit lighter for my skin. I figured it would fit me perfectly for the winter though. I kept it and bought another one in medium which is perfect for my skin now in the summer.
Even though it matches my color, I still think that the color options are not great.
Now when it comes to moisturizing the face, it does a WONDERFUL JOB. When you squeeze it out it seems thick but once you put it on your face, you won't even feel it.
Keep in mind that this is a moisturizer. So, it will give you a dewey finish. If you have oily skin, I recommend that you'd set this with powder. I have really dry skin so I didn't need to.
This moisturizer has a very light coverage and has SPF 18. It will not cover you blemishes but its great for everyday use. Not really for special events.
This product retails for $25 at thebalm.com (LINK HERE). Its very pricey but you get a lot of product per tube, 2.25 oz, and you only need a bit to cover your whole face.
I would rate this product 4/5.
Here's a before and after. I am very contented with the result. It looks light when you put it on but it darkens once it dries.
