Birthday Haul 2013

My actual birthday was on June 7th (I turned 20), but I had a little family gathering on the 8th. I can tell how much my family knows about me because most of them gave me makeup for my birthday. Opening each gift was so exciting because I felt like a kid again. I can really tell that my family and friends know me so well because they know what I love. But, even if they give me a cardboard box for my birthday, I's still be happy because anything from the people I love is a gift from me.

*I didn't make this post to show off, I would just like to share what I got on my birthday. I was just so excited that I had to tell someone about them :) I also wanna tell a story on how I got them as well and leave them a personal message. I'm very grateful that anyone would even consider giving me a gift. Not that I'm a loner or anything but it's very considerate of them to take a time and get me something. Just that idea made me feel extra special and I'm very thankful for it.

This Tokidoki palette was from my cousin Kristine. Unfortunately, Tokidoki makeup had been discontinued since 2012 but if you guys are interested, they are probably sold on ebay or some other online store. This have such pretty eyeshadow shades and I can't wait to play with them. It also comes with a sheet of magnets, green liquid eyeliner and a nail file. SUPER CUTE. Thank you Ate Kristine!

You noticed that these are all Kat Von D products? That's because it's my favorite makeup brand. I'm a huge sucker for packaging and KVD packaging hits the spot! On the 8th, my boyfriend too me to the mall and dragged me to Sephora. He said "pick whatever you like. happy birthday". Me being a makeup addict and checking Sephora.com 24/7, I know all the prices so I asked him my limit and he said "just. pick. something". I felt like a princess, so I picked these three products that I've been eyeing for a long time. My boyfriend truly knows what I want. I love everything that I got. Thank you bubba <3

The Chanel lipstick is from my brother's girlfriend, Michelle. She said she was suposed to get me an Yves Saint Laurent lipstick in Red Muse but she told me that they never restock it at Sephora. So, she went ahead and bought me a Chanel lipstick in Pirate. It's such a beautiful shade of red. I was shocked when I got it because it's my very first SUPER HIGH END makeup product. Mitch, if you're reading this, thank you so much! 

The lip plumping gloss by Soap & Glory is from my cousin Ken and his girlfriend, Armina. They were actually at the mall with my boyfriend and I when they got this for me and I didn't even notice them. I have one of these already but the clear one. I love how it makes my lips feel. I was so excited about this! I can't wait to try it out. Thank you Kuya Ken and Ate Mina <3

The Macy's giftcard is from the Rose family. I just found out today that they actually accept Macy's gift cards at MAC counters. I became extra excited about it but I thought I'll probably not use it for makeup because honestly, I have so much. This could be useful for a new purse or new shoes. Thank you so much Rose family! I'm gonna have so much fun with this. 

The iTunes gift card was from my Aunt Grace and Uncle Estes. This was actually 3 $10 giftcards but I gave the other 2 to my brother and sister. I figured I'm not gonna use the whole thing so I just saved one for me. Thank you Tita Grace and Tito Estes! <3

Last but not least, this travel mug is from my best friend, Donna. My heart dropped when I tore up the gift paper. IT'S A FREAKING TARDIS MUG! Donna is usually my shopping buddy and every time we go to Hot Topic, I would always "fan girl" over the Doctor Who stuff they're selling. Doctor Who is one of my obsessions and I love this mug so much! She texted me saying "I didn't know what to get you at Sephora, so I got you the Tardis Mug". I immediately texted back saying "Are you kidding me?? I have so much makeup already! Great choice! Thank you so much!". I would seriously consider bringing this everywhere I go like a little hipster with starbucks on one hand. I love it that much! Thank you Donna <3

I got more stuff but I thought it was too "show-offy" if I posted pictures of all of them, like money etc. My aunt's friend, Victoria got me an incense burner along with a cigarette holder. It's funny because I don't smoke but I loved the incense burner. It looked very authentic. My sister told me that Victoria told her that it was from India. Very Legit! Thank you everyone that gave me a gift and thanks to everyone that greeted me. It really made my day extra special and I completely forgot about the stress I have. God bless you all!
